Imphal, Sep 22 CRPF Director General GP Singh chaired a high-level meeting in Imphal on Tuesday, reviewing the force’s ground readiness.
Chairing the conference at the M&N Sector headquarters in Imphal, Singh emphasised zero tolerance towards violence and rapid restoration of peace in Manipur.
He also complimented the force for their “adequate and appropriate response” during recent developments.
The meeting stressed the need for a swift response to any emerging situation, along with “zero tolerance towards violence and rapid peace restoration”, the CRPF said in a social media post.
It also emphasised maximising the use of force multipliers to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
Singh is on a two-day visit to the state.
Earlier, Singh, along with senior officials, laid the foundation stone for the construction of a Transit Officers’ Mess and a Strategic Operations Conference (SOC) Hall at the CRPF’s Group Centre in Imphal.
