Mumbai, Sep 23 Two brothers were killed after the motorcycle carrying them crashed into the boundary wall of a building in south Mumbai in the early hours of Wednesday, police said.
The accident occurred around 5 am on the northbound lane of Nanabhai Musa Marg in the Colaba area, they said.
Sumit Satwan Valmiki (22) and his 15-year-old brother Sanju Satwan Valmiki were riding a TVS motorcycle when the elder sibling allegedly lost control of the two-wheeler.
The vehicle rammed into the boundary wall of Gangotri Building. Both brothers sustained severe head injuries and died, an official said.
The victims, residents of Ganesh Murti Nagar in Cuffe Parade in south Mumbai, hailed from Pipri in Uttar Pradesh’s Badaun district, he said.
An accidental death case has been registered, and the bodies have been sent to the state-run GT Hospital for post-mortem. A forensic team visited the crash site and collected samples as part of the ongoing investigation, he added.
