Indore, Sep 22 (PTI) Seven persons, including three women, were injured when a lift fell from the second floor of a six-storey residential building in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore on Tuesday, police said.
The incident occurred under the Juni Indore police station limits, they said.
“The lift fell from the second floor of a residential building. Three women and four men were injured in the accident,” inspector Anil Gupta told PTI.
The injured have been admitted to a private hospital, and one of them suffered serious leg injuries, he said.
The six-storey residential building is old, Gupta said, adding that the lift collapse incident is being investigated.
