Hyderabad, Sep 24 Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has been selected for the ‘Aryadan Muhammed-2026’ Best Public Servant Award, presented by the Keralam-based Aryadan Muhammed Foundation.
The foundation presents the award in memory of the late Aryadan Muhammed, a popular Congress leader from the southern state, a CMO release said here on Thursday.
The foundation’s Working Chairman and Nilambur MLA Aryadan Shoukath said Revanth Reddy was chosen for the award in recognition of his visionary leadership and innovative schemes implemented for the welfare of farmers, backward classes and other communities in Telangana.
The selection jury, comprising MP Benny Behanan, Keralam Revenue Minister A P Anil Kumar and intellectual Kalpetta Narayanan, commended the Telangana CM’s commitment to democratic values, the release said.
Marking the fourth death anniversary of Aryadan Muhammed, the foundation will present the award to Revanth Reddy at Nilambur in Keralam at 4 pm on September 25.
A cash prize of Rs 1 lakh, a citation and a memento will be presented to Revanth Reddy.
AICC General Secretary (Organisation) K C Venugopal will deliver the Aryadan Muhammed memorial lecture during the ceremony.
Aryadan Muhammed was elected as an MLA eight times and served as a minister for several years. He remained etched in the hearts of the people of Keralam as a visionary leader and an outstanding parliamentarian, the release added.
