Jaipur, Sep 22 Star Health and Allied Insurance Company has settled over 2.77 lakh health insurance claims amounting to more than Rs 1,370 crore in Rajasthan since it began operations, a company official said on Tuesday.
The company has provided health insurance coverage to over 51.50 lakh people in the state during this period, the official said.
In 2025-26, it settled 43,088 claims worth Rs 240 crore in Rajasthan and provided coverage to over 5.13 lakh people.
During the first quarter of the current financial year, 14,387 claims worth Rs 68 crore were settled, while more than one lakh people were covered, the company said.
“Having paid more than 2,77,800 claims worth over Rs 1,300 crore since inception, we have seen first-hand the importance of timely financial protection for families during their healthcare needs,” Vijay Arora, Business Head at Star Health Insurance, said.
He said the company was focusing on expanding access to health insurance as well as digital consultations and home-based healthcare services.
The company currently has more than 40 branches and four Gramin Bima Kendras across 27 districts in Rajasthan, supported by over 20,680 advisors, he said.
