Hyderabad, Sep 22 (PTI) A 29-year-old woman from Visakhapatnam was found dead in a hotel room here with injury marks on her face, police said on Tuesday.
The deceased, along with her boyfriend, both natives of Visakhapatnam, had checked into the hotel at Madhapur on September 21, they said, based on preliminary enquiry.
She was found in an unconscious condition and was shifted to a private hospital by her boyfriend along with the hotel staff, where doctors declared her brought dead. After the incident, the woman’s boyfriend fled from the hospital, police said.
On examination, injuries were noticed on the face of the deceased.
The Clues Team visited the hotel room and the scene was secured for collection of evidence, police said.
The woman’s boyfriend has switched off his mobile phone and special teams have been deployed to trace and apprehend him, police said.
