YSRCP criticized Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s Collectors’ Conferences, describing them as hollow meetings conducted purely for publicity rather than governance. The party alleged that meetings intended to improve public administration and deliver solutions for people’s problems have instead become media-driven events with no clear direction, outcomes, or benefits for citizens. According to YSRCP, this pattern is not new, but consistent with Chandrababu Naidu’s style of governance, where optics and propaganda are prioritized over implementation.

Questioning Chandrababu Naidu’s repeated claims of being the country’s “most experienced administrator,” YSRCP said it is ironic that after decades in politics he is now speaking about relearning governance through Singapore-style training programmes. The party termed the proposed Singapore governance narrative another publicity stunt aimed at rebranding his administration despite two years of what it called corruption, destruction, and administrative chaos in Andhra Pradesh. YSRCP asked why Chandrababu never informed voters before elections that he needed foreign training to learn governance and questioned whether Singapore’s approval was required to implement the promises he personally made to the people.

The party pointed out that before elections, Chandrababu Naidu and the TDP alliance made 143 promises under “Super Six” and “Super Seven,” even distributing written bonds to households detailing the financial benefits each family would receive. YSRCP questioned why none of these commitments have been implemented despite repeated conferences and reviews. It asked what tangible outcome emerged from the seven Collectors’ Conferences held so far, alleging that not a single major assurance had been fully implemented and that the conferences have become nothing more than staged publicity events designed to mislead the public.

Contrasting the current government with the previous YSRCP administration, the party said that immediately after assuming office in 2019, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy declared the party manifesto as the government’s governing document and ensured it was displayed in every office and department. YSRCP stated that its government implemented welfare programmes with commitment despite the Covid pandemic, delivering Rs. 2.73 lakh crore through DBT schemes and introducing reforms including village secretariats, Aarogyasri expansion, Nadu-Nedu, Amma Vodi, housing schemes, English-medium education, Rythu Bharosa, and free crop insurance for farmers.

The party accused Chandrababu Naidu of deceiving people through exaggerated promises before elections and abandoning them after assuming office. It questioned whether Singapore training was required to implement the promised Rs. 1,500 monthly assistance for women, Rs. 3,000 unemployment allowance, pensions for SC, BC, and minority citizens above 50 years, housing plots for the poor, or welfare support for farmers and students. YSRCP alleged that all these promises have effectively become political frauds while governance standards continue to collapse.

YSRCP further alleged that grievance redressal systems introduced during its tenure, including the Spandana programme, have been weakened, leaving citizens without solutions for land, revenue, and welfare-related issues. It accused the government of harassment, corruption, and favouritism in administrative matters while failing to address critical concerns such as farmers’ distress, shortage of fertilizers, rising fuel prices, lack of fee reimbursement, collapse of Aarogyasri services, poor conditions in hostels and hospitals, and weakening of the village and ward secretariat systems.

The party also criticized the government for allegedly running a vindictive administration by targeting journalists, social media activists, and political opponents through false cases and police pressure. YSRCP concluded that instead of focusing on governance, public welfare, and accountability, the Chandrababu Naidu government is functioning through propaganda, political revenge, and media management, while “good governance” has become completely inaccessible to the people of Andhra Pradesh.
