Patna, Sep 23 Two persons have been arrested with explosives and ammunition near a temple here, officials said on Wednesday.
Acting on a tip-off, police raided a spot near the Sheetala Mata temple and recovered a live bomb resembling a hand grenade and five cartridges from two persons, said Sub-Divisional Police Officer Raj Kishor Singh.
The two accused were detained and placed under arrest following interrogation, the police officer said, adding a bomb disposal squad has been called to defuse the bomb.
“Police are investigating the matter further and trying to nab their associates,” he added.
