Nagpur, Sep 22 A tigress aged around three years was killed in a road accident in Bhandara district of Maharashtra on Tuesday evening, an official said.
The incident occurred in Lakhni town.
The tigress was killed after being hit by an unidentified vehicle on National Highway 53, the forest department official said.
The post-mortem will throw light on the exact cause of the feline’s death, he said.
