New Delhi, Sep 23 Promising Baroda batter Priyanshu Moliya will lead the Rest of India U-23 squad that will face Tamil Nadu, the winners of previous season’s Col CK Nayudu Trophy.
The four-day match will be held at the MA Chidambaram Stadium from October 1.
Moliya, 21, had fine run in the 2025-26 domestic season, scoring 379 runs from seven Vijay Hazare Trophy matches at an average of 63 with two hundreds and as many fifties.
Mumbai batter Angkrish Raghuvanshi will be his deputy. Raghuvanshi had a good outing for Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2026, scoring 422 runs from 12 innings at a strike-rate of 146 with five fifties.
The 22-year-old also made 270 runs from seven matches for Mumbai in the Vijay Hazare Trophy last season with two fifties.
