Leh/Jammu, Sep 22 The General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Northern Command Lt Gen Pratik Sharma undertook a two-day visit to Ladakh to review the security situation and operational preparedness of the troops deployed in the region, the Army said on Tuesday.
The Northern commander reached Leh on September 21.
“Interacting with the troops, Army Commander appreciated all ranks for their exemplary professionalism and steadfast commitment to duty, in the challenging weather and terrain,” the Udhampur-based Northern Command said in a post on X.
It said Lt Gen Sharma underscored the importance of discipline, fitness and regular training combined with innovation and and Tech capability enhancement to remain mission-ready.
