Thousands of unemployed youth, DSC aspirants, students, and YSRCP leaders staged massive protests across Andhra Pradesh against what they described as the “Fraud DSC” conducted by the Chandrababu Naidu government. Accusing the coalition government of converting the promised “Mega DSC” into a recruitment scam, protestors demanded a comprehensive CBI investigation into the alleged irregularities and sought the resignation of Education Minister Nara Lokesh. The statewide agitation, organised under the banner of YSRCP’s Student Wing, witnessed large participation from unemployed youth who expressed anger over what they called a betrayal of their aspirations.
YSRCP leaders said the government had shattered the hopes of lakhs of unemployed youth who had waited for years for recruitment opportunities. They alleged that instead of conducting a transparent selection process, the government allowed serious irregularities to cloud the entire DSC-2025 exercise. Demonstrators raised slogans demanding justice for unemployed youth, accountability for recruitment irregularities, and a CBI probe into the allegations surrounding the examination process. Placards reading “Job for Lokesh, Betrayal for the Unemployed” were displayed at protest sites across the state.
The party alleged that questions surrounding paper leak allegations, deletion of data, manipulation of merit lists, fake sports certificates, and irregular appointments had severely undermined public confidence in the recruitment process. YSRCP leaders argued that the government’s continued silence despite mounting allegations had only deepened suspicion and uncertainty among candidates who had prepared sincerely for the examination. They maintained that recruitment should be based solely on merit and transparency, warning that any compromise would damage the credibility of the entire education system.
Calling the agitation a democratic movement on behalf of unemployed youth rather than a mere political protest, YSRCP demanded an independent investigation into every allegation related to DSC-2025 and insisted that the truth be placed before the public. The party stated that ordering a CBI inquiry was the only way to restore confidence and ensure accountability in a matter affecting the futures of lakhs of young people.
The protests were held across major districts including Guntur, Kurnool, Visakhapatnam, Nellore, Tirupati, Anakapalli, Srikakulam, Amalapuram, Nandyal, Ongole, Bapatla, Palnadu and Kakinada. Demonstrators organised rallies, dharnas and memorandum submissions at Ambedkar statues and public offices, demanding justice for DSC aspirants and action against those responsible for the alleged irregularities. Several senior YSRCP leaders, former ministers, MLAs, MLCs and district leaders participated in the protests, reiterating demands for a CBI probe and the resignation of the Education Minister.
YSRCP warned that the movement would continue until a full investigation is conducted and accountability is fixed. The party stated that no government has the right to gamble with the lives and futures of unemployed youth and pledged to continue standing with DSC aspirants until justice is delivered.
