A massive wave of protests swept across Andhra Pradesh as the YSR Congress Party organized large-scale demonstrations in all 175 Assembly constituencies under the campaign “Two Years of Chandrababu’s Betrayal & Backstabbing.” Thousands of party leaders, cadre, women, farmers, youth, students, and unemployed aspirants took to the streets, accusing the coalition government of betraying its election promises and failing to deliver on the much-publicized “Super Six” guarantees. Despite police restrictions and attempts to obstruct several rallies, YSRCP leaders asserted that the overwhelming public participation reflected growing anger against the government’s anti-people policies and vowed to intensify their struggle until the promises made to the people are fulfilled.

Tirupati

YSRCP organized a massive protest rally in Tirupati under the leadership of Bhumana Karunakar Reddy and Bhumana Abhinay Reddy, drawing thousands of party workers and supporters. Former Minister Kodali Nani led a massive protest rally in Gudivada, accusing Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu of deceiving the people by failing to implement election promises. He said that while claiming to create wealth, the government was instead burdening the state with massive debts.

Responding to remarks branding YSRCP as an “axe party,” Kodali Nani asserted that the “green axe” belonged to the TDP, describing its political history as one of repeated betrayals. He remarked that just as Lord Shiva, Goddess Durga, and Lord Ganesha hold an axe, the people would place Parashurama’s axe in the hands of Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy in 2029, enabling him to deliver a political defeat to the TDP. He further claimed that leaders mired in corruption feared Jagan’s growing political strength.
